Our E-Commerce team is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of the partner channel marketing strategy for our strategic partner networks. In collaboration with the sales team, you will take responsibility for delivering and implementing marketing programs targeting the commerce divisions strategic partner accounts to guide awareness and lead generation activities, providing cover for channel partner marketing programs. You will participate in demand creation activities through the channel and work either with or on behalf of partners to develop, implement, and measure joint marketing plans, events and activities. As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will work closely with partners, Business Account Managers, product marketing and the marketing team to create and implement innovative and strategic channel activities that increase awareness, generate leads, reinforce customer and channel relationships, and build marketing pipeline and sales opportunities. You will also coordinate the local implementation of channel campaigns and programs and support and deliver partner enablement and engagement activities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Development Managers to build out partner channel marketing strategy, aligned to marketing campaign objectives and sales objectives;
  • Develop the strategic and tactical channel marketing plans and activities;
  • Lead the development and on-going optimization of a new Partner marketing website;
  • Work with strategic partners to develop, deliver and track multi-channel marketing campaigns;
  • Promote awareness and partner enablement sessions that inform partners of the latest campaigns, new products and solution updates, partner wins, new content including tips and tools available to help partners grow their ecommerce business;
  • Measure, analyze, and report on channel marketing activities to determine their contribution to sales lead pipeline and to evaluate overall partner marketing program effectiveness and ROI;
  • Conduct regular competitive audits on other companies in the industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of how to drive business and marketing with and through a partner community;
  • Strong experience in managing multiple partners of varied sizes to build marketing programs appropriate for their goals;
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to influence others and drive decisions;
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a solid understanding of B2B environment, software experience preferred;
  • Experience with standard marketing performance metrics;
  • Ability to work cross-functional teams, remote teams;
  • Detailed-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time;
  • Comfortable working as part of a driven team in a highly collaborative environment;
  • Willing to travel to meet with partner, sales leaders, attending events and supporting the sales team;
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving, and project management skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative, & willingness to creatively solve problems;
  • Experience in channel marketing withing Microsoft ecosystem;
  • CRM experience such as Microsoft Dynamics required (an asset);
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (an asset).
