Orckestra Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Mediagrif, is searching for an Outbound Sales Development Representative based in our Longueuil office reporting to the Vice-President, Global Enterprise Sales and Partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for your Account Executive partners.  Working in partnership with our marketing and sales teams, you will work on outbound campaigns and qualify active buying interest and identify critical decision makers to successfully position the Orckestra value proposition. This is a great opportunity for a driven self-starter passionate about technology, commerce and… you guessed it… Sales!  SDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Orckestra Core Values will have potential to pursue new challenges and career advancement within the sales organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creative outbound prospecting within your territories and named accounts;
  • Leveraging sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to network with potential customers;
  • Gain business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face everyday;
  • Contact prospects through high volume cold calling, targeted emails, social selling and networking with professionalism, persistence and organization;
  • Schedule appointments with leads for your Account Executive counterparts to engage in discovery sessions;
  • Develop qualified leads for our Account Executives and collaborate with them on the different leads in the pipeline;
  • This is an individual contributor role that reports to a sales manager who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one on ones as well as autonomy to allow you to own your success;
  • Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • You are driven, passionate and a self-starter able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment;
  • You work well in a team as much of the work is highly collaborative and cross functional;
  • Have the ability to understand signs, trends and habits and turning it into meaningful and useful data;
  • Have the ability to think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease;
  • Demonstrate empathy for customers struggles and challenges;
  • Intellectually curious;
  • Resilient in the face of objections;
  • Have a passion for sales and sales processes;
  • Process driven, structured approach and organized to achieve your goals;
  • Great communication, writing and listening skills (English and French);
  • One to three (1 to 3) years of previous sales experience;
  • Knowledge of Hubspot and asset;
  • Bachelor’s Degree will be considered an asset.
