Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will help assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns, creating original content, and conducting market research.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Achieve marketing goals through the creation of relevant and engaging content and deployment of marketing campaigns and emails
  • Support marketing team by scheduling and organizing the creation of website content to enhance SEO efforts
  • Assist with developing and managing social media content, including blogs and Business Insights articles
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Develop, design, edit, and review marketing materials, as well as sales and customer care materials
  • Provide input and suggestions for process and product improvement
  • Giving marketing advice and support for a better understanding of the brand’s voice and personality to determine the most profitable mean of distribution
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysis of daily marketing activities, costs and results
  • Works closely with company leadership, sales and customer care teams to ensure that the marketing efforts are optimized
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward and meet deadlines
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Must have a high level of creativity
  • Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing and email tools (such as Hootsuite, SendGrid and ExactTarget)
  • Experience with multiple research methods and the use of data analytics software
  • Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word, Adobe products such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver, web analytics, and Google Adwords
  • Graphic design and basic knowledge of HTML a plus
  • Friendly, approachable and sustains a Professional manner including phone and email etiquette
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritize and handle many tasks simultaneously
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
