IPT by BidNet® government clients win top procurement honors
(Albany, NY, July 16, 2010) Ten government agencies which utilize online purchasing solutions through Interactive Procurement Technologies (IPT by BidNet®, www.iptbybidnet.com), were recently awarded the prestigious Achievement of Excellence in Procurement from the National Purchasing Institute.
The honored agencies included outstanding public purchasing programs at state, county, city, utility, and educational agencies from across the country. This annual award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence in criteria designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.
According to IPT Vice President Dan Ansell, “We are proud to work with these ten agencies, among hundreds across the country. They are leaders in outstanding public service, using technology and expertise to achieve streamlined operations and reduced costs, while adding support for vendors and increasing the transparency of government business.”
