Mediagrif Announces Appointment of New Directors
Longueuil, Canada – February 6, 2009: Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc. (TSX: MDF), a world-leading developer of e-business networks and provider of complete B2B e-business solutions, today announced three new appointments to its Board of Directors.
The following newly appointed directors cumulate extensive knowledge and experience of the technology industry, M&A and international operations and are key additions to the Board.
André Courtemanche is the President and CEO of VIAVAR Capital, a private equity firm which he founded in 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Courtemanche had founded Steltor, a collaborative software company which he successfully sold to Oracle Corporation.
Patrice Commune is the President of Presagis, a subsidiary of CAE Inc., since 2007. An industry leader in commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) modeling, simulation, and embedded display graphics software solutions, Presagis was formed following CAE's acquisition of Engenuity Technologies, MultiGen-Paradigm, and TERREX. Prior to, Mr. Commune was President of Engenuity Technologies and held the position of VP International Operations at MontaVista Inc., a leading global supplier of systems software for intelligent connected devices and associated infrastructure.
Gilles Laurin is a chartered accountant and serves as an advisor and director for different corporations since 1996. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Vice-President, Partners Support, for Capital d'Amérique CDPQ Inc., a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Prior to 1996, he held executive positions in various companies such as Sico Inc. and Groupe Permacon Inc.
The Board has also accepted the resignation of long-time board member Léon Courville.

The Board is now comprised of seven (7) Directors, including Claude Roy, Marc P. Brunet, Michel Dubé, who were appointed on December 15, 2008, and Jean-François Sabourin. To that effect, the Audit Committee will be comprised of Gilles Laurin who was named President, of André Courtemanche and Jean-François Sabourin. As for the Human Resources Committee, it will be comprised of Michel Dubé, who was named President, of Patrice Commune and Jean-François Sabourin. All members of these Committees are independent pursuant to the applicable regulations.
